No. The Fone Clinic™ charge out all replacements at cost price and offer your company the right of audit of our purchase invoices at any time. The reason for this is that the mobile phone market changes daily and price fluctuations of £5 in a day are not uncommon. Our insurance partners are guaranteed that they are always buying at the lowest market price for that day.

No. All parts are charged to your scheme at cost price and through regular audits you will be able to monitor our purchase invoices at your request. With manufacturers like Nokia reducing parts prices by up to 60% in 2004, it is wise to ensure that your scheme is enjoying the benefits of price reductions and not the repairer.

At the The Fone Clinic™, we consider ourselves an extension of our insurer’s claims departments. When your claimants' phones arrive they are subject to strict inspection. Any discrepancies and the phone is immediately placed into quarantine and contact is made with our insurer requesting further instruction. As the insurer is unable to inspect the damaged handset, we make the inspection of their behalf and prevent claims from proceeding when instances like intentional damage are present.

What happens to the scheme’s written off phones?

The Fone Clinic™ guarantees that no phone that is subject to write off ever appears back on the UK market either as ‘second-hand’ or ‘14 day stock’. If this were to be the case, what would be our motivation to affect a successful repair as either way profit could be extracted. Furthermore, your scheme could find itself paying twice, once for your initial repair and then again to buy back your own written off phone as a replacement for another claimant’s BER! All written off phones are disposed of in an environmentally friendly way and a payment is afforded to your scheme for each phone disposed of.

What happens if the repair is unsuccessful?

The Fone Clinic™ affords your claimants varying warranties according to the type of damage incurred. Where we experience a return, the claimant’s phone immediately takes priority over all other repairs by going straight back into the workshop. Furthermore, all re-repairs are put through our strict ‘Quality Assurance’ programme ensuring that no further issues are encountered by your claimant.

What turnaround time can our scheme expect?

At The Fone Clinic™ we understand that every day your claimant waits for the return of their phone is a further time of frustration, which will ultimately result in the cancellation of their policy. Therefore, one of the greatest strengths of The Fone Clinic™ is that we average only three working days from the time we receive your claimant’s phone to the time they have taken delivery of a successful repair or replacement and are back making calls.
