Our Environmental Commitment

All mobile phones that have been unsuccessful in repair are broken down and sold for scrap, meaning that we commit to you that no phone deemed beyond economical for repair by The Fone Clinic™ will be reconstituted for reuse in the UK marketplace.

Furthermore, no parts within phones deemed beyond economical for repair, unless identified as new, will be used for future repairs on other accidental damage claims.

Data Protection

The Fone Clinic™ does not catalogue or capture any information from handsets other than what is required in the process of evaluating the unit for repair.

Title and Enviromental Responsibility

Once a phone is deemed beyond economical for repair a credit is raised against the insurer’s invoice for the purchase of the scrapped phone. All title and environmental responsibility passes to The Fone Clinic™ at this time.

Waste disposal

The Fone Clinic™ operates audited systems to ensure that we can follow all phones deemed beyond economical for repair to their final disposal via our contracted disposal agency.

Mobile Phone Repair Services

The Fone Clinic is a mobile phone repair centre, specialising in mobile repair services for the insurance industry. We also provide repair services for private individuals, including a same day repair service. We repair all makes of phones including, iphone repairs, Nokia repairs, Motorola repairs, LG repairs, Samsung repairs, Sony Ericsson repairs, smart phone repairs, RIM blackberry repairs, lcd screen repairs and cell phone parts. We carry out high quality repairs for water damaged phones, dropped phones, smashed phone screens, faulty phones, intermittent mobile phone faults, mobile phone charger faults, and are based in Essex, just north of London. We offer the most cost effective repair solution available. Whenever possible we endeavour to repair a mobile phone rather than render it beyond economic viability to do so. All phones that are deemed non cost effective to repair are scrapped in order to preserve the integrity of our service and to prevent the possibility of sub standard, faulty parts re-entering the UK mobile phone market. Our mobile phone scrapping service is environmental and as green as it can be, and no parts from scrapped phones are re used within the repair process unless they can be identified as new mobile phone parts. We do not capture or evaluate and data stored on a mobile phone except for that required during the fault evaluation process, however we recommend that data is removed from the phone prior to sending it to us. The Fone Clinic specialise in mobile phone insurance repairs. We act as an extension to your claims department, minimising costs and maximising the potential for mobile phone repair, with a bespoke high level reporting system offering you over 50 pieces of relevant data regarding each mobile phone claim.
